THIS PEOPLE, IS WHY I DON'T DRAW. It took me 2 days to make.. and it still looks pretty awful. ugh.

This was made for =scenceable's contest II. Since everyone else's entry is so amazing, I thought I'd tip the balance a little bit. muhahah!

This is Serenity's alter ego. He wishes he was bigger, tougher and able to defy all. Therefore I name this piece Defiance.

Please don't kill me =scenceable. I totally massacred your character :/ guh.

at the same time I want to thank =pronouncedyou for giving me enough courage to use the pen tool (not much. haha)

NO you never draw, so this is really good. you can compare it to freaks like me who draw like 5 horses a day and say its bad, but considering the experience, its really good. :D

i don't understand why you say it's bad!!! for someone who says they never draw this looks pretty damn good. i can't draw horses to save my life! and i think the line art looks fine~ i can tell where you used stimulate pressure! if you keep practicing i know you'll kick my ass in using the pen tool. :D my first like 100 pieces were such crap compared to this. i'm ashamed of myself now haahah.

awwwwwwwwwwww. you're insane.
Horses are so hard to draw. It's the first time I really try. It looks like a camel :/

Anyways, The most problem I have is with color, shadowing and highlights. I never know what to do with it. I try to imagine the sun in a corner, but I still don't see it.

Overall, it was kind of fun to make. I read the tutorials you shared twice and I think I figured the basics of the pentool.

Thank You. I think I will try to make more things. Simpler Objects maybe.
