Are these a different type of egg? They are a pretty shade of pink and I'm wondering how they got that way :)

They are regular eggs that were coloured using beet juice. It's all in the recipe, linked up there.

You could always do some for halloween too. I thought about cracking the shells a bit and putting them in beet juice to create spiderwebs on the egg ;)
