I'm one of those
I always told myself, I would never be one of those that disappear from deviantART without saying a word. I was a mom already, with tons of projects but I still could manage being an decent CV and bringing the community fun events (I hope?). It turns out that I'm a huge hypocrite. I became what I didn't want to become. Sure, I could blame the fact that I now have 2 children that depend on me or that I've been working more and more for my business but the truth is that I feel like an impostor. I lost interest in creating art. I start projects in my head but never follow through. I haven't even posted on my recipe blog in 3 months.

Architectural Models
As a previous CV and as an Artisan Crafts enthusiastic in general, I feel that the Architectural Models sub-category of Artisan Crafts is often left out of the spotlight. Mainly, I think because it is not nearly as popular as say jewelry making or knitting.
I've always had a respect for architectural models, my first room mate had a huge city model that he built from scratch, he kept removing buildings and replacing them with new ones all the time. I could sit there on the floor of his room, watching him build and destroy for hours while we conversed about anything at all, it was therapeutic somehow.
I'm obsessed!
I just finished reading Words of Radiance, the second book from The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson; who by the way is the best author in the freakin' world. I am so emotionally invested in this book, oh my god, I read the 1000+ pages in about 3 seconds. Reading while rocking Félix to bed was the best. Now I need something to quench my thirst because the next book is not scheduled to come out until 2015 :noes:.
In the meantime, I decided to look for fan art and I was not disappointed. Deviants are a talented bunch, I tell ya.
